How to find the IP addresses of Bitchute.com video viewers

We were able to retrieve the IP addresses of Bitchute video viewers. The following tutorial explains how we found the IP address of a bitchute user located in New York city.

Imagine I work for the North Korean regime and I want to catch Kim Jung Un haters in South Korea. I would create a fake anti KJ1 video on bitchute with the right title to attract the anti KJ1 right audience. Then, I would communicate about it. Then, I would monitor all the viewers from South Korea to locate my targets. This is a honey pot technique.

We understood that every bitchute video that we played on our computer sent packets to other viewers on the internet.

First of all, install webtorrent, nettop, tcpdump on your Linux or Mac OS. download the magnet link of a popular video with actual PEERS from bitchute and paste it into webtorrent. open webtorrent, import the link.

Open the terminal, type nettop, scroll down to webtorrent.pid check the list of sockets like the one below

Take a look at the right column. Spot a number where the number of bytes is changing showing that data are exchanged on this particular socket. Take the port number of the socket from the left side (for example 192.168.1.201:54113) on the line where the numbers are changing.

Then open  a new window. type 

sudo tcpdump -i yourinterface udp port 54113

You will see all the UDP traffic on port 54113 in real time. You can then get the IP address of a viewer by doing a “dig a hostnameoftheip“

As you can see below, I spotted a user located in New York. The hostname was cpe-104-162-164-243.nyc.res.rr.com 

so, in this case, I even didn’t need to do a DIG A , the IP address of the bitchute viewer was 104.162.164.243. Then, i can use it to locate him and send my agents. 🙂

For sure, Bitchute is aware of this aspect of the used protocol and they encourage users to buy a VPN.
