Enfold theme VS Genesis framework comparison

License

Once a license has been bought, it is possible to install an enfold theme or a genesis theme several times. Consequently, those two options are cheap. Nevertheless, Enfold is a cheaper solution since its demos are free. Demos can be used to build new websites. On the other hand, it is necessary to buy a new genesis theme if you are looking for a different genesis layout. For sure, you can modify the CSS and create your own Genesis child theme. Note that it is a default wordpress functionality. Every theme can have a child theme. Consequently, Enfold can also have a child theme. 

Page builder

Enfold features its own page builder called “Avia” page layout builder. It lets the web developer split the content into several columns and add several elements to it (headers, images, feed, code). On the other hand, Genesis has no default page builder. We tried to use WPbakery with Genesis but we were not satisfied with the result.

Theme options panel

Enfold features a theme options panel. It helps to modify the design of the website. On the other hand, the Genesis framework has no theme options panel.

Layouts

Enfold has several demos that can be used to start a brand new website. However, the Enfold demos aren’t as diverse as the Genesis themes but the Genesis themes aren’t free.
