The best generic domain TLDs for adult websites

Since FOSTA-SESTA lows have been signed by president trump, all adult websites hosted in the USA, all .COM adult domains are at risk. .COM and many other domain TLDs are operated by American companies that should comply with the state and federal laws. The US-based company Verisign operates .COM, consequently, all the .COM domains fall under the US law.

When a website counts thousands of adult pages, you can’t be sure that a web page does not infringe the FOSTA-SESTA federal laws.

That is why it is safer to choose a domain TLD operated by a company in a jurisdiction that is favorable to websites with adult content. This is the case of Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland. UK is also good for now on but there are talks at the chamber of common to implement the SESTA FOSTA in the UK.
