The SiteCozy broken link checker for Linux

This Linux applicaton scans broken links on web pages. If you want to activate a PRO license you must install it on a bare metal computer. You can’t activate it on a Virtual Machine.

Instructions to install the broken link checker on linux. We tested the Sitecozy broken link checker on Ubuntu.

  • Extract the tar.xz file to the desktop, it will create a build folder
  • Open the file named “sitecozy broken link checker for linux” (sitecozy.desktop) file in a text editor
  • Replace the name “bobo” with the name of your user in the path for the executable file and the icon. /home/bobo/Desktop/build/nw => /home/yourUSER/Desktop/build || /home/bobo/Desktop/build/icon.png => /home/yourUSER/Desktop/build/icon.png
  • Save
  • Double click on “sitecozy broken link checker for linux“
